Greg R. Waldorf, OD, FAAO


Dr. Waldorf graduated from the Northeastern State University College of Optometry in 1996 with both his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees.  He completed his residency training in Pediatrics / Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL in 1997.  His residency training emphasized working with special populations and children with visual impairments.  Dr. Waldorf became board certified through the American Board of Optometry in 2013 and achieved fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2014.  Dr. Waldorf is an adjunct professor at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Worcestor, MA.

Dr. Waldorf moved to Rhode Island in 2004 to become a partner in practice with Dr. Hamel.  He currently lives in Cranston with his husband, Bart, and their two daughters, Julianna and Mariah.  Dr. Waldorf enjoys running and is an avid yoga practitioner.  His most recent endeavor with Bart was running the Schneider Electric Paris Marathon in Paris, France.
