Dr. Hamel graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors degree in
Engineering in 1986. Upon graduation, she entered the Air
Force branch of the military where she not only served for five
years, but met and married her husband, Anthony.
Dr. Hamel graduated from the Northeastern State University
College of Optometry in 1996. She moved to Rhode Island
following optometry school and started the practice in 1997.
Carol and her husband Anthony currently live in Lincoln with their children Grace,Sophia,
Antonio and Andrew.
Rebecca Collins, MS, OTR/L is an accomplished pediatric occupational therapist who
has improved the daily function and independence of hundreds of Rhode Island
children. She received her masters degree in occupational therapy from Tufts
University and currently serves children through Early Intervention as well as at The
Autism Project of Rhode Island. She has treated children in clinic-based,
school-based and home-based settings. She has a broad range of experience with
which to effectively treat a wide variety of pediatric diagnoses. Rebecca has the
ability to effortlessly connect with children and draws from her experiences as a
clinician and as a mother. Her individualized treatment plans successfully help
children reach goals to improve daily function at home, school and play.
Dr. Waldorf graduated from the Northeastern State
University College of Optometry in 1996 with both his
Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees.
He completed his residency training in Pediatrics/Binocular
Vision and Vision Therapy with an emphasis in special
populations and the development of visually impaired
infants at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL.
